Hispanic Heritage Foundation Youth Awards

Description: Participation is limited to students living in OR enrolled in schools located in a state or territory that is hosting a State Competition. To be eligible to compete as a student team member, a student must be currently enrolled in grade nine, ten, eleven or twelve. Students will be asked to address a challenge that confronts our nation’s leading industries. Students will utilize professional engineering software to develop their solutions and will also generate presentations that convincingly demonstrate the value of their solutions.

Innovation in Education Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in high school or college within the United States with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a citizen of, permanent resident, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada. Applicant must have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others and submit an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation.

Greenhouse Scholars Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors planning to attend a four-year accredited academic institution. Applicant must demonstrate financial need (annual household income no greater than $80,000) and have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a legal resident of California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York, or North Carolina.

Immigrant Student Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in or accepted for admission to a college, university, or graduate program who is either a first or second generation immigrant living in the United States. Applicant must submit an essay or video sharing their family’s immigration story.

SchoolHouse Connection and Youth Leadership and Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently resident in the United States (undocumented applicants are eligible) who were born on or after November 24, 2003. Applicant must begin college (four year, community college, or trade school) for the first time in 2024 (not including dual-enrollment courses). Applicant must have experienced homelessness in the last six years.
