Do you like making a difference in your school or community? If you do, DoSomething has many campaigns to make a difference, and for participating, you will be entered to win a scholarship! Below are campaigns from DoSomething that are accepting entries in March.

$500 Easy Scholarship: Donate 1 Pair of Jeans at Aéropostale to Benefit a Homeless Shelter
Scholarship Amount: $500
Closing Date: March 7, 2020
Description: You could win an easy $500 scholarship by donating 1 pair of jeans at a local Aéropostale store by Saturday, March 7. Bring your jeans to Aero, and they’ll drop them at a local shelter for youth experiencing homelessness. For teens in homeless shelters, jeans are one of the most requested items. Donate 1, 2, or even 10 pairs. You’ll make a difference in someone’s life *and* you’ll enter to win a $500 scholarship! Drop-off deadline: Saturday, March 7.

$1,500 Easy Scholarship: Ready to Vote? Quiz
Scholarship Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: March 31, 2020
Description: Take and share our online quiz with friends to educate them on everything they need to know to vote in the upcoming elections. You’ll be entered to win a $1,500 scholarship!

$2,500 Easy Scholarship: Share a Mental (Health) Note with a Guy Friend
Scholarship Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: March 31, 2020
Description: You could win an easy $2,500 scholarship by giving a guy in your life (a friend, teammate, fraternity brother, actual brother, or boyfriend) one of our Mental (Health) Notes as a reminder to spend some quality “him” time. Using the card, he’ll set aside time to do a quick mental health check-in, do some personalized self-care, and be connected to clutch mental health resources for especially tough times. At the same time, you’ll automatically enter to win a $2,500 scholarship. Win-win!

$2,500 Easy Scholarship: Take a Quiz & Share a Personal Finance Guide Online
Scholarship Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: March 31, 2020
Description: You could win an easy $2,500 scholarship just by taking a Would You Rather-style quiz and sharing a personal finance guide with a friend. Answer five easy (and outrageous!) questions about saving money, and we’ll give you an online financial literacy guide. Share the guide with a friend to help them take control of their money, and you’ll automatically enter to win a $2,500 scholarship. Yep, it’s that easy! (P.S. Ever guide you share earns you another chance to win the scholarship. So 1 share = 1 chance to win, 10 shares = 10 chances to win, and so on! You can always share with more friends!) 

Eligibility Information

While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:

  • US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
  • 13 to 25 years of age.
