Description: Scholarship is open to current undergraduate students who are permanent residents of Columbus, Georgia.

Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile Jr. Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to college freshmen attending a UNCF member institution, a Historically Black College or University (HBCU), or any accredited, four-year institution and is interested in majoring in education and/or a STEM related field. Applicant must be a resident of Indiana, Kentucky, or Ohio.

MassMutual Close the Gap Scholarship – Grad

Description: Scholarship is open to African American/Black first-year graduate students. Preference will be given to students majoring in math, statistics, economics, finance, computer science, data science and technologies, physics, any business major, supply chain management, or actuarial science. Preference shall be given to permanent residents of Massachusetts and the New England area, specifically Maine, Vermont New Hampshire, Connecticut, or Rhode Island.

MassMutual Close the Gap Scholarship – Junior

Description: Scholarship is open to African American/Black classified as a college junior. Preference will be given to students majoring in math, statistics, economics, finance, computer science, data science and technologies, physics, any business major, supply chain management, or actuarial science. Safety on the Road Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students in the United States who have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay discussing their idea for improving road safety and the potential results of their proposed change.

U.S. Figure Skating Scholarships

Description: Applicant must submit an outstanding English translation of poetry, fiction, drama or literary prose originally writing in a Nordic language.

Description: Scholarship is open to students planning on attending a program related to the beauty industry (cosmetology, barbering, hair design, nail technology, etc.)

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Diversity and Racial Equity

Amount: UP to $12,500 over a four year period

Description: Scholarship is open to underrepresented minority student, specifically an African American/Black, Hispanic/Latin, American Indian, Alaska Native, and/or Asian and Pacific Islander student, classified as a junior during the application process. Applicant must be a full-time at an accredited four-year public or private Historically Black College or University (HBCU) and must be a permanent resident of Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin. Applicant must have a declared major aligned with a career in medicine, nursing, social work, or mental health with a demonstrated commitment to pursuing an advanced degree in healthcare.

Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled in an AACN member institution and maintain at least a 3.2 grade point average in their current program or last school attended.

Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award

Description: Award is open to classical instrumentalists, vocalists, and composers between the ages of 8 and 18 who have not yet entered college during the 2023-2024 academic year. This is the first deadline. Deadline II is November 15, 2023.

Jump Start Scholarship

Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: September 1, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to South Dakota residents who have attended a public high school in South Dakota on a full-time basis for at least two semesters prior to graduating. Applicant must, within one year of graduating high school, enroll in a college, university, or technical school accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools that provides instruction from a campus in South Dakota.

Mobility Disability Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to college and university students with a mobility disability who use a wheelchair or other mobility devices on a regular basis.

Scrubin Uniforms/AACN Scholarship
Sponsor: American Association of Colleges of Nursing

Description: Scholarship is open to nursing students in baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral programs who are enrolled at AACN member schools with a formal affiliation agreement with Scrubin Uniforms.

South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship
Sponsor: South Dakota Legislature
Amount: $1,300
Closing Date: September 1, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open residents of South Dakota at the time of high school graduation with at least a 24 on the ACT or 1090 on the SAT and who had a cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.0 prior to graduation. Applicant must attend a university, college, or technical school that provides instruction from a campus located in South Dakota.

Stephen W. Cavanaugh Scholarship
Sponsor: Baton Rouge Area Foundation
Amount: Up to $8,000 ($1,000 a semester for eight semesters)
Closing Date: September 1, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to deserving Louisiana students who are or will be majoring in an insurance related field at a Louisiana university, college, or community college.

Tennessee HOPE Scholarship
Sponsor: Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation
Amount: Up to $1,750
Closing Date: September 1, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors from Tennessee who will be enrolling in one of the Tennessee public colleges, universities, or private colleges. Applicant must have at least a 21 on the ACT or 1060 on the SAT.

Tennessee HOPE Scholarship – Nontraditional
Sponsor: Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation
Amount: Up to $1,750
Closing Date: September 1, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to Tennessee residents who are 25 years of age or older. Applicant must be an entering freshman in an eligible post-secondary institution or have not been enrolled for at least two years after last attending any post-secondary institution. Applicant must have an adjusted gross income of $36,000 or less on their IRS tax form.
