ATCA Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to air traffic control and aviation science students. In addition to the general scholarships, there is a scholarship open specifically to female students. There is also a scholarship open to children of air traffic control specialists -open to all majors.

Bertolino Government Regulatory Impact Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled in a HVACR training program at an accredited school. In addition to the general scholarship, there is a scholarship specifically for military veterans and students in Florida.

Collegiate Inventors Competition

Description: Competition is open to students enrolled as full-time students in any U.S. college or university for at least part of the 12 months prior to entry. Contestants can enter as an individual or a team. Contestants must submit an original idea or work product.

Cornelius Vander Broek Memorial Essay Contest for ‘Graduate/Older’ Students

Description: Scholarship is open to graduate students through age 30, or to undergraduate students ages 25–30 who attend a North American college or university. Applicant must submit an essay on the following topic: “State/church issues endangered by the Trump administration’s capitulation to Christian nationalism.”

Costas G. Lemonopoulous Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to children of NALC members attending public, four-year colleges or universities supported by the state of Florida or St. Petersburg Junior College (no private colleges or universities and no other junior colleges).

CURE – Cancer Support Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to accepted and current college students who were diagnosed with cancer in childhood and whose disease and related treatments placed a significant financial burden on them and their families.

David Hudak Memorial Essay Contest for Freethinking Black, Indigenous & Students of Color

Description: Competition is open to freethinking students of color ages 17-21 who are either high school seniors or students currently enrolled in a college or university. Applicant must submit an essay on a given prompt related to rejection of religion. The contest is offered to provide support and acknowledgment for freethinking students of color, as a minority within a minority.

Dermer Appel Ruder Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who will be pursuing undergraduate degrees in pre-law studies or students entering law school in the Fall 2025 semester. Applicant must submit an essay on a topic of their choice related to an area of law that interests them.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school senior in good standing in the Diocese of Miami and the Southeast. Applicant must be a current resident of one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee.

Dr. Walter W. Ristow Prize
Sponsor: Washington Map Society

Description: Prize is open to all full and part-time undergraduate, graduate, and first year post-doctoral students attending accredited colleges and universities anywhere in the world. Student must submit a research paper or bibliographic study related to the history of cartography.

Eastern Dioceses Scholarship
