We also will donate $1,000 to a Black-led, DoSomething-approved organization fighting for racial justice of the scholarship winner’s choosing. The recent wave of worldwide protests sparked by the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, amidst others, highlight the injustices, fear, and violence that Black Americans face on a daily basis because of white supremacy. If you identify as Black: Share our self-care for young Black activists guide with a friend. If you identify as white or a non-Black person of color: Use our guide to start a conversation about disrupting racism with someone you care about. (Winner can donate their $1,000 scholarship winnings to the same organization if they choose.)

Eligibility Information
While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:
- US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
- 13 to 25 years of age.
