Description: Scholarship is open to army student veterans pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited four-year college or university.

Dinwiddie Family Foundation Scholarship

Amount: Up to $11,000
Closing Date: September 23, 2020
Description: Loan forgiveness scholarship is open to African American college graduates who received their first bachelor’s degree in the spring (or summer term) of 2020. Applicant must be a permanent resident of Los Angeles County, CA, San Antonio, TX, or Oklahoma City, OK.

CAA Scholars Program
Sponsor: CAA Foundation | UNCF
Amount: $5,000
Closing Date: September 24, 2020
Description: Program is open to incoming freshman from the greater Nashville, great Los Angeles, and New York metro areas, with preference given to students planning to pursue careers in the entertainment or sports industries. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Turn 2 Foundation/Sharlee Jeter Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to college freshmen who have completed the Jeter’s Leaders Program in Kalamazoo, Michigan or New York and are enrolled as a full-time college freshman at a HBCU institution.

Courage to Grow Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to juniors and seniors in high school and college students with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicant must explain in 250 words or less why they believe they should be awarded the scholarship.

NEWH | New York Chapter Scholarship

Amount: At least $2,500
Closing Date: September 30, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled college students attending an accredited college in Connecticut, New York, Northern New Jersey or Rhode Island. Applicant must have a career objective in of the areas of the Hospitality Industry (i.e. Hotel/Restaurant Management, Culinary/Foodservice, Architecture, Interior Design, etc.)

Honda Corporate Scholars STEM Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students enrolled at a Historically Black College or University who is majoring in a STEM field.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship
Sponsor: Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State
Amount: Varies
Closing Date: October 6, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to current undergraduate students who are receiving the Federal Pell Grant. Applicant must be applying to or has been accepted into a study abroad program or internship eligible for credit by the student’s academic institution.

UNCF Black Educators Scholarship

Amount: Up to $2,500
Closing Date: October 7, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students majoring in education and attending full-time at a UNCF member college or university or other accredited four-year HBCU. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Scholarship America Dream Award
Sponsor: Scholarship Award
Amount: Up to $15,000
Closing Date: October 15, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to students who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at the sophomore-year level or higher at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire 2020-2021 academic year. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA). Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA and financial need.

Horatio Alger Association Scholarship
Sponsor: Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc.
Amount: Up to $25,000
Closing Date: October 25, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors in the United States who demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income). Applicant must be involved in co-curricular and community service activities, display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.

API Study Abroad and Intern Abroad Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to API program participants. There are multiple scholarships with specific requirements – see website for details. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships specifically open to community college students, military veterans, non-traditional students, students with disabilities, minority students, DACA students, LGBTQ students, STEM majors, and student athletes.

Chick Evans Scholarship for Caddies

Description: Scholarship is open to students who have a strong caddie record and excellent academics. Applicant must have completed their junior year of high school with above a B average. Applicant must plan to attend an institution with an Evans Scholars Program (list of institutions available on website).

U.S. Bank Scholarship Program
Sponsor: U.S. Bank
Amount: Up to $20,000
Closing Date: October 30, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who is at least 16 years of age or older and are enrolled as a current undergraduate student as of May 1, 2021. Applicant must complete financial lessons to be entered.

ACFEF Scholarships for Apprenticeship, Certificate and Post-Secondary Degree Programs

Description: Scholarships are open to exemplary students who are currently enrolled in an accredited, post-secondary college, with a major in either culinary or pastry arts, or be an ACFEF registered apprentice.

Description: Scholarship is open to college students undertaking a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university with a major in engineering or science and related to the telecommunications field.

Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled at an accredited college or university within the United States who are legal residents of the United States or hold a valid U.S. student visa. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to gold.

Description: Scholarship is open to current high school seniors attending school in the United States. Program recognizes students for their capacity to lead and service, and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.

Combating Campus Issues Scholarship

Closing Date: October 31, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to all students enrolled in a community college, junior college, undergrad or graduate institution located anywhere in the United States. Applicant must submit an essay explaining how they will raise public awareness about combating issues they have experienced on campus.

Dechtman Wealth Management National Scholarship Essay Contest
